With the BLE MOBILE GATEWAY app, we are expanding our customer portal to include a mobile solution for location tracking. Users can use it to detect and track their BLE beacons—which are registered in the backend—via their mobile devices.
To do this, the app uses the device’s Bluetooth feature to automatically detect BLE beacons within range. Data is collected continuously in the background as long as the app is active. This allows location data from registered BLE beacons to be collected and made available in the customer portal.
